The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has awarded Glasgow based CreateLMS a coveted spot on the G-Cloud 9 framework agreement for the supply of cloud-based software to the Public Sector.
Founder and CEO of CreateLMS, Mark Taggart, said, “We were delighted to be welcomed as one of the select few G-Cloud accredited suppliers to the Digital Marketplace. We are now fully able to support organisations public sector wide in achieving their learning management initiatives. G-Cloud represents a positive and exciting step change in local and central government and we are proud to share our LMS expertise with them.”
The G-Cloud service began in 2012 as an initiative to enable easing the Public Sector procurement process for information technology services. Once welcomed to the framework, suppliers of cloud-based services are able to work with Public Sector organisations without the need for a full tender or competition procurement process. The initiative has enabled the CCS to support organisations across the Public Sector in achieving cost-effective modernization of IT services while improving software and support solutions for Public Sector teams.
